Your initial application should be completed using the center's own online application form. After a successful application, you will be asked to pay a deposit of USD $500, which is nonrefundable. If, for any reason, you subsequently wish to cancel your place on the course after part or all of your fees (i.e., the deposit plus the balance) have been paid, TEFL Tuscany/TEFL Uruguay cannot provide a refund. Please be sure you plan to attend the course before making the payments.

As part of our pre-screening process, applicants are requested to submit an account of their personal history, background, and motivation for joining the course, as well as their future aspirations. Inaccuracies or fraudulent claims in the application are grounds for dismissal from the course.

The course fee is based on your satisfactory completion of all course assessments, including teaching practice sessions, within the four weeks. If, for any reason, you do not complete these satisfactorily within the four-week period and it is agreed that an extension of time or further teaching practices are possible at a later date, you will be liable for additional charges to cover additional staff time. These charges are 100 euros (Tuscany) and USD $100 (Uruguay) for each Teaching Practice and 50 euros or USD $50 for each piece of written work.

If you withdraw from your current course and wish to enter a later course, an additional moderation fee must be paid.

Cancellations are extremely rare. However, if for some reason we cancel a course, we will offer trainees the following choices: a full refund, transfer to another course, or priority enrollment in a future course.

The TESOL/TEFL Certification certificate is not graded, and the final certificate is typically available on the last day of the course.
All course members are subject to the disciplinary regulations of the center. The course director's decision is final, and dismissal from the course is not grounds for a refund.

TEFL Tuscany and TEFL Uruguay offer TESOL Certificate courses. Extra activities and services are also often advertised. While the TESOL Certificate course will not change significantly in content, the extra activities and services may change due to local circumstances beyond our control.
