TESOL/TEFL Courses: Learn to Teach English as a Foreign Language

We offer more than one choice of TESOL/TEFL program in order to accommodate a diverse student population.

This 4-week, in-house program is normally the first step in a TESOL/TEFL teacher’s career. Our course is intensive and packed full of both theory and practice. This is our most popular course, and it is appropriate for new teachers, teachers with experience but not necessarily TESOL/TEFL experience, and teachers who are looking to refresh their teaching methods. If you cannot commit to a four week course, then our distance TESOL/TEFL program is a good alternative. We take the material from our TESOL/TEFL Certification Program and we’ve made it accessible online. In addition, you’ll have LIVE conferences with our trainers and you’ll be expected to complete live teaching practice for which you’ll receive valuable feedback.

TESOL/TEFL Certificate Sample Schedule & Teaching Practice

TESOL/TEFL training days can be long; on certain days during teaching practice, you might even be required to stay until 8:30 pm. So, please come to the course rested, and ready to embark on a life-changing adventure with our staff and English language learners!

A typical day in the life of a TESOL/TEFL trainee may be like the following:

  • 9:30-11:00
    Session-Foreign Language Experience II
  • 11:15-12:30
    Teaching Vocabulary
  • 12:30-13:30
    Lunch Break
  • 13:30-15:00
    Live Teaching Demo/Feedback: Lesson Plan Type 1
  • 17:00-17:15
    Reflective Journal Writing
